JODIE O'GRADY

Pre School Manager

A bit about me:

I have 2 children of the ages of 10 and 15!

I have always enjoyed working in childcare. I love spending time with my children and getting crafty.

I do lots of fundraising for my sons charity as my son has complex medical needs.

My experience:

Level 4 childcare

Safeguarding lead

First aid

Senco

Safer Recruitment

Fire safety

I am a SENCO for the preschool and hold a level 4 qualification in Childhood and Youth Studies and currently working towards my level 5 leadership and management course.

I started my journey at 17 years old when I child-minded for a family friend for many years. When my children were in pre-school, I volunteered as a parent helper. I have experience working with vulnerable families. It was whilst working at the pre-school with my daughter that I discovered my passion for working with SEN children on a 1-2-1 basis.

I am passionate about working with parents because I know how much easier the journey together is when we work as a team.

I Find working with children rewarding and it's my biggest passion.
